AutoHoome Privacy Policy

Scope

This policy explains how AutoHoome handles information when you use the vehicle care log app.

Information You Enter

You may enter vehicle profiles, mileage, service records, repair notes, fuel entries, inspection details, costs, reminder preferences, and PIN settings. This information is stored on your device.

Local Storage

AutoHoome stores vehicle records in local app files, preferences in local settings storage, and PIN-related data in the device Keychain. A JSON backup is created only when you choose to export one.

Network and Basic App Data

The app may process a device identifier, app identifier, app version, device type, system version, request time, and similar basic information for app functionality, security maintenance, statistics, and troubleshooting. Your vehicle records are not uploaded by the app.

Third-Party Services

AutoHoome does not use advertising networks and does not use your data for cross-app advertising tracking.

How Information Is Used

Information is used to save your vehicle log, calculate reminders and summaries, protect the app with a local PIN if enabled, export backups when requested, maintain app functionality, and diagnose operational issues.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Vehicle records remain on your device unless you choose to export and share a backup file yourself.

Retention

Local records remain until you edit them, delete them, reset app data, or remove the app. Exported backup files are controlled by you after export.

Your Choices

You can add, edit, delete, export, or reset your local vehicle data in the app. You can also remove the app from your device to delete its local app data.

Children's Privacy

AutoHoome is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security

The app uses local device storage and Keychain storage where appropriate. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Changes

We may update this policy when app behavior or legal requirements change. The updated date will show the latest revision.
